Learning at Home
Our Learning at Home policy outlines our approach to how families can support your child(ren) with their learning when they are not in school.
Each half term, our staff produce a menu of activities linked to the half term's learning theme. Each menu can be found on your child's class page of the website and also in your child's learning at home book.
In addition to these weekly activities, we expect families to support with basic skills such as learning number bonds, times table facts, spellings and daily reading. Support is available to families with how to do this. Either contact your child's class teacher or the school office who will direct you to our Family Centre.
The ideas on the Menus are a mixture of academic and creative tasks and there should be something on there for everyone to access and enjoy. We would encourage you to look at ones from other year groups as well as they all vary so you might find something interesting from another year group's page should you wish to do more activities with your child(ren) at home.
